Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI)
The Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative, commonly referred to as AMSTI, is the Alabama Department of Education’s initiative to improve STEM teaching statewide, including improvements in the individual, as well as the integrated, STEM subjects. Its mission is to support Alabama educators and students in learning STEM through doing STEM.
Alabama Science in Motion (ASIM)
Alabama Science in Motion is the high school science component of the Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative.
ASIM is a partnership between universities and high schools in Alabama.
Alabama Technology in Motion (ATiM)
Technology in Motion provides job-embedded professional development for teachers to promote the use of technology in teaching and learning. The program offers services, materials, and training that support teachers’ professional growth in effective teaching practices, the creation of technology-rich learning environments, and project-based learning.
Alabama’s Teacher Growth Program
The Alabama Teacher Growth Program (ATGP) promotes continuous monitoring of the teachers’ ability to support the implementation of Alabama Core Teaching Standards (ACTS), improve instructional practices, seek professional supports, and increase student performance.

The ALSDE Identity Management (AIM) portal is the one-and-only site to manage your ALSDE identity. All ALSDE-developed web applications use AIM credentials, meaning you only have to remember one email address and password to access all of your authorized applications.
