    Students will mentally add 10 to a given two-digit number.

    Activity Details

    Students will use an internet-connected device to play "10 More Attack."

    In the game, they will be given a two-digit number and mentally add 10 more to sink the ships. The students' job is to destroy the robot submarines using depth changes. The only problem is the sonar screen is always off by 10 fathoms, so students will have to add ten to the two-digit number shown.

    Students will record each equation in their math journals.
