French Discussion: What Did You Do This Summer?

Overview

This novice high to intermediate mid-French activity is perfect for second or third-year students returning to school after the summer. A slide show is provided to guide teachers and students through the activity. Students will start by sitting opposite each other and responding to discussion questions regarding their summer. After two minutes, they will change partners. Then students will use prepared question cards to discuss further summer activities with their peers. This activity will require students to practice using past tense as they answer the questions.
