This video from Khan Academy provides an overview of how the events of the postwar era reshaped America. An overview of how the Cold War, the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam, and student protests of the 1960s changed core beliefs around citizenship, cultural values, and the proper US role in the world. The video can be used to introduce social and cultural changes in the US during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.  The video is 10 minutes and 16 seconds in length.
