This free resource from ShareMyLesson is a football unit. The unit was designed for 7th graders but could also be used for 6th or 8th graders. It has a group project to allow students to learn about football through research on the internet and creating a power point presentation to present to the class. The unit plan does allow for a fitness or mile day and includes assessments for throwing, catching and punting a football.
